Sent by Stuart Blaugrund.
Briefly, Ignatz (1856-1951), was the eldest of Leopold's five children; he married Chayeh Unger (1863-1952) in 1881 in Humenné, a town in the Prešov Region in eastern Slovakia. My father, Maurice (1907-1971), was the youngest of Ignatz's 7 children who lived into adulthood (6 sons and 1 daughter who passed away before the war from natural causes). My Dad left Czechoslovakia in 1933 to join his 5 brothers who were already living in El Paso and involved in the retail furniture business. Around 1936, one of my dad's brothers (Sigmund), moved from El Paso with two of his first cousins (Mannie and Henry Blaugrund) to start the American Furniture in Albuquerque.
Click on the hyperlink below for the most up to date interactive tamely tree for the decedents of Ignatz and Chayeh Blaugrund. I think David Simansky (Edith and Leo Schwartz's son-in-law) may have prepared this document on JewishGen. It needs a little refreshing, but is fairly comprehensive.
Please let us know if you can update any of this for us.
